I just started working with a patient who I have been told has partial development of the corpus callosum.
My patient is missing the entire corpus callosum. I thought she would have trouble crossing the midline, but that has not been the case. She has also been diagnosed with amblyopia. So far, it is a very interesting case.
The patient I have been working with can cross the midline, but it is not her first response. She avoids working on her right side or using her right hand unless required to. For example if I put some blocks on her right side, she will move them to the left, then use them there.
Very interesting. My patient also has anisocoria, I am unsure if this is related to the ACC or not. Right now she is alternating, but tends to lead with the right eye.
