I have been working with vision therapy for around a year dealing with my amblyopia, which is complicated by the fact that the lazy eye had a retinal hemmorage around 12 years ago and has a fuzzy spot in the center where I can't see details.  All of a sudden, I have seemed to slip back considerably.  Some exercises that I had no or little trouble doing before are now almost impossible. Ambylopia and cataracts

I just discovered this site after reading Susan Barry's book.  I would like to know what people's experience has been with situations where not only is there ambylopia, but the eye has cataracts, and even before they developed was evaluated at 20/100.  Is cataract surgery a prerequisite to starting vision thereapy?  In this situation, are the expectations for progress limited?  Any other words of advice?  (P.S.  I'm 66 years old)Rick Tejada-FloresSee More

Now upload videos directly to Sovoto!

Hello! Wanted to share great news that you can now upload videos directly on to Sovoto, as opposed to uploading using YouTube or Vimeo code.

Here is how to do it:

1. Navigate to your profile page

2. On the left-hand column navigation click "videos"

3. Immediately on screen you are prompted to "click to add videos." Follow the remaining on screen instructions.

Please note:

You can add up to 30 videos at a time, and each video may be up to 100MB in size. We support videos in the .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .avi, .wmv, .3gp, and .3g2 file formats.

If you would like to add a video to your status, please select video. Then copy and paste your Sovoto video link into the status bar.
