- Sharon Lemley Snider, OD, FCOVD, FAAO graduated from the University of Louisville at the age of 19. She received her doctorate degree from the University of Alabama in Birmingham School of Optometry in 1983. Dr. Snider is Board Certified in the field of Developmental Vision with the College of Optometrists in Vision Development. She is also Board Certified with the American Academy of Optometry. Dr. Snider and her husband own Snider Therapy Centers, Inc. with offices in Birmingham and in Columbus, MS. Snider Therapy Centers are centers for resources and treatment for individuals with Attention Deficit (Hyperactivity) Disorder, Autism, Traumatic Brain Injury, and Sensory Integration Dysfunctions. Her private practice offers multi-sensory therapies to help integrate auditory, vestibular, and visual input.
In addition to these accomplishments, Dr. Snider and her husband have been blessed with eleven children, all of whom are home educated.
