I just had an article published at BBC future that I thought might interest this group. In fact, it tries to answer some questions that I've seen here recently (such as, how is it that I can see 3D movies even though I'm stereoblind?) It's about a man who was exotropic his whole life and then suddenly acquired stereovision while watching Hugo in 3D.

Several COVD doctors and student members participated in the Illinois College of Optometry Choir which opened the American Optometric Association Optometry's Meeting at McCormick Place in Chicago earlier this week by singing the Star Spangled Banner in 4 part harmony.
