I've been doing some eye patching this week: my optometrist reckons I need to "lay the foundations" for vision therapy to be effective.
I've been biking to work, that is a 20m ride each way.
There's no much traffic in Hastings, New Zealand, and it's cycle lanes all the way, so this experiment was safe enough.

I was walking in a popular park and was stopped in my tracks by a swarm of flies.
Yes, I am writing about flies again.
They moved upwards in the sunlight as though they were bubbles in a recently opened bottle of sparkling (carbonated) water or champagne.
