What do I see when I look at a VT Patient's Problem?
As a clinician trained in visual science, I was heavily conditioned to look at an eye problem in a diagnostic way. Later, with coaching from Behavioural Optometric colleagues, I learned to convert the visual diagnostic terms into behaviours. In this way, patients better understood the value of participating in a Vision Therapy program. After the VT program, they would behave differently in their lives.
