Announcing the COVD Visions of Hope Vision Therapy Video Contest!

 

Sovoto friends, 

 

This, I hope, will be of great interest to the members of Sovoto - the "Visions of Hope" Video Contest announced today by COVD. The concept is to use the internet contest format to encourage patients to record their own video success stories about vision therapy. Videos will be submitted and by vote one will be selected to be presented during August Children's Vision and Learn Month, as well as at the COVD meeting in October.

I very much hope that you record and upload a video. And share the news with anyone you know who has been a patient or provider of vision therapy. This could be BIG!

Now upload videos directly to Sovoto!

Hello! Wanted to share great news that you can now upload videos directly on to Sovoto, as opposed to uploading using YouTube or Vimeo code.

Here is how to do it:

1. Navigate to your profile page

2. On the left-hand column navigation click "videos"

3. Immediately on screen you are prompted to "click to add videos." Follow the remaining on screen instructions.

Please note:

You can add up to 30 videos at a time, and each video may be up to 100MB in size. We support videos in the .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .avi, .wmv, .3gp, and .3g2 file formats.

If you would like to add a video to your status, please select video. Then copy and paste your Sovoto video link into the status bar.
