Email Notifications

With a simple adjustment to your settings, you can quickly and easily controls e-mail notifications such as friend requests, messages, comments and group updates.

On the upper right side of your profile, click "Settings." Select "E-mail" from the Menu on the left. You will see a variety of options including the following:

What network activity do you want to receive an email notification for?

Network Messages

* Messages sent to me
* Messages sent to groups I belong to
* Messages sent to my events
* Messages sent to the whole network
* Messages sent to multiple recipients

Member Activity

* Friend requests
* Group invitations
* Event invitations
* People that I've invited to join this network
* I have new comments to approve
* Comments on photos or videos I add

Following Discussions, Blog Posts, and Groups

* Discussions and blog posts I add
* Discussions and blog posts I reply to
* Groups I join
* Notify me when a new member joins


* I don't want to receive emails from Sovoto

Join Sovoto

Now upload videos directly to Sovoto!

Hello! Wanted to share great news that you can now upload videos directly on to Sovoto, as opposed to uploading using YouTube or Vimeo code.

Here is how to do it:

1. Navigate to your profile page

2. On the left-hand column navigation click "videos"

3. Immediately on screen you are prompted to "click to add videos." Follow the remaining on screen instructions.

Please note:

You can add up to 30 videos at a time, and each video may be up to 100MB in size. We support videos in the .mov, .mp4, .mpg, .avi, .wmv, .3gp, and .3g2 file formats.

If you would like to add a video to your status, please select video. Then copy and paste your Sovoto video link into the status bar.
