I use coloured photographs on the iPad for training fusion as a way to engage the patient more on an emotional level. When they perceive depth, I invite them to talk about the places in their life where they wish to have more depth and fulfilment.  I first published the photos in my book Conscious Seeing  The photographs I use on the iPad can be purchased alone.

The design varies on whether the patient is Myopic, Hyperopic or astigmatic. The iPad is mounted on stand for ease of use. Note that the patient is using a loose prism to increase the demand.

Great question Susanna.  In my first book, I simplistically investigated things like eating, work and family etc. As the years went by I elaborated on this through my interdisciplinary research. More recently I came up with the circle of life, hinting at all the areas human being are required to go into more depth - in order to evolve. Here is the diagram.

What is very interesting is that the area of depth they seek is predictable by decoding information from the Iris of the eye, the diopters and the strabismus. Esotropia, for example, will have a different area of depth than say exotropia. In addition, the refractive state of near or farsightedness and the Astigmatism dictates another area of depth. So it is not easy answer but very person and EyeCode® specific. One thing I can say with a high degree of confidence, is that Myopia and especially Astigmatism, is very related to sexuality and relationships. But then this is another discussion, isn't it? Interested?  Let me know!. Be well, Roberto.
