I am honored and excited to share the following information written by my colleague, Dr. Carole Hong!

Dear Colleagues,

I’m so excited about the plethora of excellent new books related to vision therapy that we now have at our finger tips. Eye Power, By Stan Appelbaum, Fixing My Gaze, by Sue Barry, My Kids are Nearsighted Too…by Nicholas Despotidis, and See It Say It Do It! by Lynn Hellerstein are just a few. I’d like to share what we have been doing in our office to help promote what we do through the use of one of these books.

For awhile now, we have been loaning books from our library to patients before therapy consultations. But, this time have stepped it up a notch and are not only sending books to referral sources as thank you gifts, but also offering books to current and past VT patients to give as teacher and parent gifts. Here is a flyer that we are using this holiday season that features Lynn Hellerstein’s new book, “See It, Say it, Do It!” Feel free to use the flyer as there is an area on the bottom that you can customize with your own practices information.

In addition, we are planning our first workshop of the year around the theme of her book and have attached a flyer that you may also use and customize in order to host your own workshop on this topic.

Lastly, we have created a bulletin board in our reception area to help educate our patients about this exciting new book and how it can help parents and teachers to create successful students and confident kids!
