Learning & the Brain Research-Join Me

Many of you have requested information regarding the Learning & the Brain Conference that I attended in Feb. 2010 in San Francisco. This is a national interdisciplinary scientific and education conference that attempts to bring together some of the latest research on education. Next year’s conference is in Cambridge, MA Nov 19-21.

There is a large body of research showing how mindset, relaxation, visualization, movement and many of the other strategies we utilize in vision therapy, See It. Say It. Do It! and RIM (visualization) are very effective. Even though vision therapy was never mentioned or on the radar at this conference, I came away with a renewed excitement about our work and brain research to support the rationale behind vision therapy.
